One of The Atlanta Hotel's two swimming pools
| Two Swimming Pools The first hotel swimming pool in Thailand (1954), and, for over a decade, the largest in Thailand. The rockery at the far end of the pool served as a bandstand in the 1950s. The large white wall above it is the old cinema screen which pre-dates television in Thailand. The stone walls, the terrazzo dance floor, the tiles in and around the pool are all original. The swimming pool filter and computerised water quality control are from Dinotech of Germany, the finest available in Thailand. Children's pool (the first in Thailand in 1957) |
