Returning friends and guests will be happy to know that many significant improvements were made at The Atlanta in mid-2019!

F.A.Q​.

  • 24-hour check-in and check-out.   Normal check-in time is 13:00 hrs.  Normal check-out time is 12:00 noon.  Early check-in and late check-out may be requested on the reservation form.  

  • RESERVATIONS  are accepted in good faithThere is no reservation charge, no advance payment or deposit, no charge for amendment to reservations, and no charge for cancellation.  The reason is that over 90% of our guests are regularly returning guests whom we regard as our friends.  Most of our friends have been coming back to stay with us for several decades; some are second or even third generation friends.  We know that force majeure may compel a change or a cancellation of a reservation which our friends made in good faith.  We cannot charge or penalize our friends for circumstances they cannot control!  Our new guests therefore enjoy the same consideration.  All we ask of you is to let us know as much in advance as possible if you wish to amend or cancel your reservation.

  • Special requests, including clarification of your reservation, may be made in the 'Special Requests' section of the reservation form.

  • Free  crib  /  cot  /  baby bed.

  • Free  WiFi  throughout.

  • All  ROOMS and SUITES  have en suite shower & toilet, and hot water.

  • Universal  sockets in every room / suite.  You will not need an adaptor for your plugs no matter from  which country you come provided your appliance uses 220  volts

  • Padlocked safes in  every  room / suite.  Bring your own padlock or buy one at reception.

  • Every bed has a very good mattress and a generous number of quality pillows.  We have the best mattresses and pillows compared to any budget hotel in Thailand.

  • Rooms cleaned every day, and bed linen and towels changed as often as you like.

  • Rooms are basic and functional, without television, minibar or refrigerator.  Guests who need to use a refrigerator may ask the restaurant staff to place their items requiring refrigeration in the restaurant refrigerator.  The Atlanta is, of course, more than its rooms!

  • Room amenities include towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving razor and shower cap.  Bottled water may be bought in the restaurant or at reception when the restaurant is closed.

  • No elevator / lift.  The grand staircase is gentle to climb.  We will consider your age when allocating you a room.

  • All  PAYMENTS  are to be made in cash Thai currency upon check-in or shortly thereafter.  For longer stays, please pay in advance or at regular intervals during your stay so as not to run up a huge bill!  Please note that credit cards are not accepted anywhere in The Atlanta.

  • Room tariffs are calculated according to the number of occupants but you have the choice of the type of room.

  • MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS  must be left at reception and may not be taken up to the rooms.

  • BICYCLES  may be parked in front of the building where there are guards and where they can be locked, or parked as otherwise advised by reception.  Bicycles may not be taken up to the rooms.

  • NO PETS.

  • LAUNDRY SERVICE  is wet wash only, no dry cleaning.  Laundry charges are very modest.

  • BREAKFAST  is not included in the room tariffs but is available in the restaurant.

  • RESTAURANT  opens 07:00 hrs till 24:00 hrs, last food orders at 22:30 hrs, last bottled drinks orders 24:00 hrs.  Breakfast is available from 07:00 hrs till 22:30 hrs.  Payments in cash Thai currency only.
